With a vast experience in neuroscience (Weizmann Institute), HW design (Mellanox, Saifun), machine learning algorithms (Oren, MS Tech), and photonic computing research (Bar Ilan University, Hebrew University), Dr. Eyal Cohen is in a unique position to envision and create brain-inspired computing. Eyal’s leadership track record includes his roles as a knowledgeable researcher, a gifted inventor, and an esteemed Neuroscience lecturer (Weizmann Institute). Eyal proven track record as CogniFiber’s CEO is embodied in both the exceptional team as well as their remarkable achievements.
A Full-professor and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Bar Ilan University. Prof. Zalevsky’s research expertise involves biomedical optics, super-resolution, and electro-optical devices. He has published more than 570 peer-reviewed papers, 340 proceeding papers, 9 books and about 100 patents. Prof. Zalevsky is the co-founder and CTO of many successful start-up companies that originated from technologies commercialized from his lab including Civcom, XCeed, Zsquare Medical, ContinUse Biometrics and many others.
